BS, COTA/L, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Alexa joins the JS Therapies team as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Originally, she is from St. Louis, Missouri, but relocated to St. Croix from Denver, Colorado, where she provided OT services at a behavior-based pediatric clinic. Alexa holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Equine Science, with previous work in equine-assisted therapy and pediatrics. She has also previously worked closely with OT abroad, in Ecuador and Africa, taking pride in culturally competent care of her clients and families. Alexa enjoys playing sports, scuba diving, snuggling with her dog, quality time with friends and family, and advocating and educating about the benefits of OT services. She is excited to continue her passion for OT with kids, enabling children to meet their goals in order to lead more independent and fun lives!
