CONTACT OUR OFFICE

Complete a new client intake form to provide your child's information, concerns, and insurance information if applicable. Our Patient Care Coordinator will contact you to schedule your initial evaluation and inform you of your insurance coverage for our services. For families without insurance, we do offer discounted pricing. Free consultations are available for clients who would like to talk with a therapist before scheduling an occupational or speech therapy evaluation.

INITIAL EVALUATION

A lead therapist will meet with you and your child to assess your child’s skill level and discuss your concerns & goals for treatment. The initial evaluation typically lasts about 1 hour and may include standardized testing, parent interview, and clinical observations during therapist-led activities.

TREATMENT

Once a treatment plan has been developed, you and your therapist will work together to find a schedule that fits your family’s needs. We often see clients weekly or twice weekly in our clinic and may be able to provide services at home/school/daycare if circumstances allow. We strongly value family involvement and collaboration with school staff to maximize progress.

JS Therapies is a credentialed provider with most major insurance companies in the Virgin Islands. Our billing manager can verify your benefits to determine if services are covered, if there are any session limits, and if there is a copay (typically $25-$30 per session). For families whose insurance does not cover services or who are without insurance, we have discounted pricing and financial assistance available. You can contact our Billing Manager, Amanda, for more information or for a financial aid application.
