Keishla Gonzalez Acosta

Keishla earned her Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from the University of Puerto Rico at Bayamon and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Puerto Rico. She also possesses a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University at Arizona and is a certified Lactation Educator. Keishla has worked with the pediatric population since 2013, in early intervention and private practice, on land and in water as an aquatic therapist! She has experience working with children of all ages and a variety of diagnoses including Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Torticollis, Global Developmental Delay, Autism, motor coordination conditions, toe-walking, and other physical challenges.
After the birth of her daughter, she decided to pursue further education in breastfeeding/lactation. Combining her knowledge about movement, posture, motor control, and functionality with the specifics of breastfeeding, Keishla is passionate about supporting families to reach their breastfeeding goals and educating them with evidence-based information. In her free time, Keishla enjoys spending time with family, travel, taking pictures, and baking.
