Maia joins the JS Therapies team as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. Maia graduated from James Madison University where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Health Communication. St. Croix became her home in 2020 when she moved from Virginia, where she was born and raised, after graduation. She has experience working with children of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, and behavior challenges, so she is excited to continue her passion of working with children as a member of the amazing JS Therapies team. Maia uses her energetic and compassionate attitude to build strong connections with clients and families. Although she misses the mountains of Virginia, she greatly enjoys exploring the many outdoor activities this island has to offer including snorkeling and hiking.
