Billie Dickens
COTA/L, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Billie is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with experience supporting children from infancy through adolescence in home health, school, and clinic settings. She has worked with children with a wide range of diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and complex medical needs, always tailoring her approach to meet each child’s unique goals.
Billie is especially skilled in sensory integration and creative play-based strategies, often incorporating tools like iLs, Soundsory, and Astronaut Training to make therapy fun and effective. Families value her ability to break down big goals into meaningful steps, provide clear parent education, and collaborate closely with the therapy team to support lasting progress.
Her greatest joy comes from seeing kids gain independence, confidence, and new skills—while making the process engaging every step of the way.
