Emily Karr
SLP-CFY, Speech Language Pathologist
Emily graduated from Marquette University in Wisconsin with a Bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology followed by an accelerated degree program to earn her Master's of Speech-Language Pathology. She joins us for her Clinical Fellowship Year (and hopefully beyond!) under the mentorship of our lead SLP, Ms. Allison Janusziewicz. Emily's clinical experience includes AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), autism, and aural rehabilitation (for deaf and hard of hearing clients).

Emily excels at fostering strong connections with her clients and families; this is her favorite part of the field and aligns perfectly with CONNECTION as a core value of JS Therapies! Emily's positive energy, flexibility, and collaborative nature are a fantastic addition to our stellar team of therapists who are all dedicated to meeting each child where they are and who are passionate about every child's right to communication. Outside of speech therapy Emily enjoys adventuring, yoga, writing, and making connections with new people!
