Jerica Garcia
OTD, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist
Jerica earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Human Development and Family Science from Kansas State University, where she also served as an undergraduate research assistant on projects focused on increasing physical activity opportunities for children. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from University of Kansas Medical Center, completing a capstone project focused on adaptive cooking for adolescents with disabilities.
Jerica's experience is primarily in pediatrics, including early intervention and school-based settings, with additional experience providing home health services for older adults. She enjoys supporting children with fine motor development, handwriting, selective eating, life skills, autism, and cerebral palsy. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the island, snorkeling, reading, cooking, and working toward her goal of visiting every beach and finding the best tacos on St. Croix.
