Julie graduated with her Master of Science in OT from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. She worked in early childhood special education in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri until a "little Caribbean adventure" in 2006 turned into a permanent move to St. Croix. She and her husband LOVE raising their three boys in this special place!
 

When she first moved to St. Croix, Julie worked with the Department of Education, Seaview Home Healthcare, and the Department of Health Infants & Toddlers Program before branching out in 2010 to offer private OT services in collaboration with Island Therapy Solutions. She and Kate Cavacco launched the OT program on St. Thomas in 2018 with Partners4Kids and discovered a growing need for therapy services on both islands. JS Therapies moved into its own locations on each island and hasn't stopped growing since! While Julie occasionally still provides direct treatment, she serves primarily as Clinical Director leading this amazing team. You're most likely to see her bouncing around the clinic, tickling children in the waiting room, or riding her bike on the roads of St. Croix.
